When you need to make a decision, or to get clarity on a situation in your life, doing this feng shui ritual may help.
Here it is: clean the windows.
Whether you use window cleaner and paper towels, or water and vinegar and old towels, cleaning the windows helps because in feng shui, windows are a metaphor for insight. They oversee the physical eyes and the ability to see clearly. So, when the windows are dirty, cracked, broken, do not open or stick, it is a metaphor for not being able to see your way to clearly make decision. Cleaning (or repairing) the windows increases clarity.
As well, window cleaning is a rather repetitive job task that can acutally be meditative. Engaging in a meditative activity can help you make a decision because once you let go of the thoughts and emotions that surround a decision, the answer will often come to you. It may have been already there in your subconsious and quieting your mind helped it come to the surface.
